01Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA and India's GIGW accessibility guidance across the public website and the Shishya portal.

02What we do

• High-contrast ivory and gold text on deep emerald backgrounds.
• Pages work at 200% zoom and on small phone screens without sideways scrolling.
• Passwordless OTP login, so there is no password to remember; OTP boxes support paste and SMS autofill.
• All animations are switched off automatically when your device has "Reduce motion" turned on.
• Form fields have visible labels, and buttons are large enough for comfortable tapping.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text.

03Known limitations

• Some decorative alpona patterns and older dashboard cards use very small text; we are enlarging these.
• Repertoire videos hosted on YouTube may not have captions for every performance.
• Live camera verification at registration needs a working camera; the front desk can complete this step in person instead.

04In the studio

Please tell us about any physical, sensory or learning needs at the audition. Our faculty will adapt teaching and seating wherever possible, and parents of students with additional needs are welcome to discuss support with Guru Rupa Bhattacharyya.
